Big Screen Television

Wow, that's a pretty good price for the size. I was looking into the TCL 98's for about the same price, but they have gone on sale for a little less. I was considering replacing our 120" projector screen in our open concept family room/kitchen. The ceiling mounted home theater projector is amazing at night, but during the day with all the ambient light, it's just too dim to watch anything with dark scenes. Just not sure about TCL, and the last time I looked, the Samsung was a lot more.
Yeah you need shades/blackout blinds for daytime projector use

Interesting development. Stairway is tight, so the delivery team wanted me to sign off on delivery before they attempted to take the TV downstairs. Box was huge, but if they removed it and damaged it on the way down, I’d be liable. New plan is to get a smaller 85” TV.

I had a similar problem with a bed boxspring, ended up getting two separate boxes as the queen size wouldn't make it down the stairs.

I built a cabinet to hold a printer, shredder and supplies at the old house. More kids meant I got kicked to the basement. Cabinet did not fit. Ended up cutting it apart with a tracksaw and throwing some dominoes in it to locate the two pieces. Seam is barely visible. Not an effective solution for a TV. FWIW, I put a 55" TV in that basement and there was zero chance of the box making it down the stairs (descending corner).

85” went down inside the box. Had to raise the wall mount from where it was for the 98”. Kids are enjoying it now with their friends.
