I have a memory of a ride on Southwood 13 that played out like this. The scene looked very similar, but the main characters had less grey hair

Was always the Gixxer...they're a luxury item now at $25,000 out the door. Another end of another era. Looks like the squids are on MT's now or got out of the sport altogether.

Not looking far enough ahead either. He even had a car showing him the path. If the car curves off to the left, my brain is primed for a left.

Now, that pit was brutal on the outside of a corner. I'm surprised it doesn't have some form of protection (or at a minimum signage). It would be a big crash even for a cage if they caught that.

The pit probably catapulted him over the bars superman style....the bike stayed still, he didn't. The supermoto is tall, so none of him probably hit the concrete.

I once saw a photoshop mocking England... "caution, sign ahead." They have so many signs. They are told what to do even moreso than we are. It'd be better to just remove that concrete holding tank altogether... I'd be surprised if this accident didn't trigger that.

Fixed. How many people got poison ivy? That was a good team effort. Those weren't light and well down in there.

Yup, they were well down the embankment. Remarkably, they went between some nasty rocks and trees. The HD Roadie was hurt most, the front fairing and bags were destroyed. The BMWs were smaller, I think one was a c650, banged and scuffed but stayed together.

As you can see it lots of leathers, I don't remember posion ivy, but I recall losing a pound of flesh to blackflys.
