Honda CB1100X

Nice. If the Rebel gets the 1100cc motor why not the X? May end up the whole family gets it.
Maybe it would make them all much more fun.
 
Everytime I see this thread title, I get excited thinking it is a new blackbird and then realize that it is not that at all. Hopefully Honda releases a spiritual successor to the blackbird at some point. You don't see many in the wild anymore.

I don't know about the viability of the class this one is trying to be a part of. There have long been competent entries like the bandit and the resale value is about as bad as you can get ime.

If only Honda was as generous with their X's as they are with their R's...

I have exactly the same reaction when I see that name. Would love to see Honda make another Gentleman's Express, as they clearly had zero interest making a hyperbike to compete with the 'Busa or ZX-14. Closest to that formula since was the BMW K1300S, which is a massively underrated sport-tourer, I think...
