They are putting the stage together today (Monday). I have a feeling that this year will really good as they've worked out the kinks. The stage this year is front and center of the main beach...where it should have been all along. Motorcycles park for free as usual.

Heed the traffic warning to avoid River Road West as it's under construction (being widened):

I went last year and it was a blast. A lot more fun than Dover imo. Hopefully the weather holds up cause its looking like ***** right now. Too far away to really tell though, fingers crossed it holds up!
Oh and on a side note...ride the speed limit on the way up. Last year airport road was swarmed with piggies.

The weather now for Saturday for Wasaga Beach looks like 27 C no showers, chance of showers is now moved to Sunday with a side of fries :)
 
I went, but waited until late afternoon to avoid the traffic and the heat. It was good. The layout is better than a few years ago. Still nowhere to go to get shade. Plenty of young hotties on the beach. Band isn't loud enough.

there's a second page out there now stating they're looking for a better location...not that it's cancelled...

It’s a matter of dollars. Wasaga probably wants more money now that the rally is getting more people to attend

That certainly is surprising! He's taking a big risk on his event failing. Part or most of the appeal was bikes and bikinis along the beach which was hugely successful. Without the beach, it's just another Port Dover...another Harley-fest which is very boring and unspectacular.

Unless he is wanting a cut off the profits he's bringing. Everything comes down to money. Notice how he capitalizes the letters in "Economic Growth we bring to Wasaga Beach.."?
