+1 if there's nothing wrong/damaged on the OEM fairings, it's worth keeping them so. You could always sell them for more than an aftermarket set cost. Hell, one OEM side panel probably cost as much as the kit.

** UPDATE **

hey guys let me give more info

The bike WAS laid down 3 years ago. I bought the bike from a friend with full disclosure. Heck I was there the day he laid it down. Ironically it was in a parking lot like everyone “says” I know the bike well. No issues.

The bike currently has brand new chinese fairings, it’s black with flames. However.. black with red flames is not my cup of tea

Not worth painting those fairings by a pro...replace with the same in a colour you like and sell the black/red ones.
