this sounds interesting !
Is the mohawk hotel the one located beside the horse track / casino? Will they be racing on the horse track?
Yes it's at the hotel. No racetrack. The events are held on the lawn between the hotel and the 401 and thru the woods to the west.Husky usually has demo rides on various studded tire bikes.Bring your gear.
There's usually a great ice track on Lake Simcoe at the end of Innisfil Beach Road. I always park in the big beachfront park in Alcona there and ride right down the boat launch. This sounds like a lot of fun. Was just pondering the best studs to put on my Husqrvana TE 511 this year. And how / where would be the best place to ride. The problem with Ontario, is we get too much snow... the tire digs in and the bike sinks. Also once your studs are in, you have to ride ditches to your location as there's no real road traction with studs. I think the best way to ride winter on a motocross in Ontario is a plowed frozen lake. Did it in Haliburton once, so much fun to be had.

What level of gear do they require? Would love to try this.
I think it's very casual.I have seen guys with 40 yr old helmets riding around and t-shirts.Best to contact Lawrence Hacking or TownMoto.
Thanks, I checked with TownMoto and they said full MX gear for the demo rides.
Chest protector too or just helmet, goggles, gloves and boots?
