My cbr was stolen!!

The shady person seemed to get some protection instead of sharing the info to the community.
How many bikes could have been prevented from being stolen?

btw- a lot of ppl in that thread are banned???

I noticed that as well and totally forgot about the mods' poor handling of that situation. It's no wonder people on reddit, cbrxx, and gsxr talk smack about gtam. I think the only forum with lower quality posts would be gixxer.com (but I haven't been on there forever).

Just surprised so many thieves lurk these halls

Be careful with the info/pics you share.

Does anyone know of some stunter forums for the GTA??.. like to post there too

Underground condo with security cameras.. I do have theft thankfully.. one of a kind paint job means it's going to be in pieces soon.. unless some dumbass decides he likes it.. then they would be mine..

Be careful with yours too

Dude, condo parkinglot thefts are big business. no secure parkinglot is secure. good luck but honestly, do you really want the bike back?? it's probably been ridden harder and by more guys than a porn star.

Grab the money from your insurance, and ask someone with a garage/house to park it there. dont' replace and park in the condo anymore.

You seriously think posting an "alleged" thief's details on GTAM is gonna prevent anyone's bike from being stolen? Wake up, man, its just the internets!

I noticed that there are a lot of people complaining about GTAM on GTAM. I mean, if you don't like it here, you don't have to be here :dontknow:

Can't help it. Too many pinecone fanboys that I have to appease.

I'm amazed people have the time to browse THAT many forums in a day...

With Threads like is it safe to park my bike at xx threw the day or I am parking here at xx what do yah think? They are just plotting a map out.

Condo lots are far from secure.

I think maybe you have misunderstood the intent of the post you quoted.
At this point you need to forget that it is your bike. Even if it is recovered, it will be far from the machine you had. Just the process of stealing it will have undoubtedly done some damage. There is no way you would want that back.
Yes it sucks.
No condo parking, no matter how many cameras etc, is secure.
Settle with insurance
Buy a new bike.
Tomorrow is a new day ☺

And keep it in a freakin garage.

Family or trustworthy friend

Some people never learn/listen about the condo thing.

I had a friend who bought a brand new bike and insisted on keeping it in the underground parking even after all the warnings.

It was only a matter of time before someone stole it.

OP - Sorry to hear about your bike, mate. I'm pretty sure you won't see it again. Hope you had theft coverage.

Oh yeah? What are you going to do? Throw pine cones at them and hope hey trip?

Is this you?

seriously though...most of these idiots (not referring to the guys in the video) don't even know how to stance up and hold a proper guard.

So many clowns who don't have experience or aren't trained in combat (not including firearms) just think they can get "angry" and beat people up on the street especially if they work out and got that false big muscle ego. I don't know what the **** idea they got in their head but you actually have NO IDEA who you could be dealing with. On top of that they have no idea how physically demanding it is dealing with an adrenaline dump when being in a situation where your well being is at immediate stake or in danger.

I ran into Mark Bocek at Burrito Boyz on a Tuesday night a couple times. He's a bjj guy who fought in the UFC and had a pretty good run just losing mostly to guys that eventually went on to become champions. He's not physically imposing at all, on top of that he was probably the most discreet guy out of his whole group and could choke the **** out of anyone there that night.

At the end of the day if you choose to be in a situation where you're running up on someone its imperative to be confident in your skills and for those skills to proven otherwise unless the other guy is a straight pussy, you can get ****ed up real quick.

I think the condo security myth is really only known by people who have been in the motorcycle forum scene for awhile...

Should be a comment put on every FYI forum around...

Underground parking in the Finch Corridor. What could go wrong? Cameras for what? So they can see that their new bike has arrived?

I hear the u-ground is the #1 place thieves love. Quiet, inconspicuous and nobody but a sleepy security guard occasionally glancing at a camera with 50 changing screens.
