The ultimate camp ....ummm chair...

I've been looking at these for a while. A couple of points:

1. They are essentially large bags with roll tops. You "scoop" air into them, roll the top and hey presto a big inflated bag to sit on.

2. They all deflate slowly. The cheaper ones do it faster than the expensive ones apparently.

having said that, they are lightweight(ish) and do look comfy.
 
I love my LayBag. Light, super comfy, easy to pack, but JC is right.... they deflate.

seeing them for sale anywhere from $60-$120 Canadian.

When it hits $20, might give it a go. Otherwise, it's just a big ol bag of air.
 
outside of the price, I would not be sitting around a camp fire on one of those. Not normally one who cares how something looks if it is functional, but that just looks silly even on a beach.

i was thinking this as well ... might be interested when the market is saturated that I can go to Cdn Tire and pick one up on there 75% off sale days :P
