Spring?? WHo's got their bikes out .....or never put them away

ive been getting ride cabin fever so i've beeen riding it in my underground garage a bunch....

possibly commuting tomorrow

They went and salted the roads here this morning.

This weekend is the one! Time to take mine out for the first time :) First riding season!

P.S, do you guys do an oil change in the spring time? I changed mine out in Nov before storing it. I'm getting mixed answers on whether it needs one or not!

Cheers,
Dan
Leave it. Its fine.

If you're paranoid, drain it into a clean container. Give it to me and I'll run it in my bikes...

Planning a 400k trip with a bunch of friends Sunday, and would be surprised if I don't get a few hundred K in Saturday as well...but really must concentrate on getting some other stuff done around the house as well.

Actuallly contemplating opening our pool this weekend if I manage to stay off the bike enough. ;)

Still kinda chilly out for me to be swimming.
Not being a Polar Bear, I think I'll open mine later on.
Bike is a different matter.

I usually open mine either the last weekend in April or the first weekend in May - between the solar heating as well as natural gas (if I'm feeling so inclined), I can get it up to swimmable temperatures quickly if a surprisingly warm weekend appears early and an opportunity for an early season pool party presents itself.

I bought a new super high efficiency variable speed pump this year so the electricity costs of having it open early is negligible. In the end I like having it open, going out on the pool deck and sitting poolside with a cold beer is relaxing, cold water or not. ;)

I've put on over 1100km since February, and its my first ever riding season. Its been spring for months for me!

Dealership got you all sorted I see.
Enjoy the 1st ride!

Haha yeah. I walked in, and my registration and certificate were sitting on the desk. Tried to see if I could pick it up this afternoon, but I guess they couldn't get plates for it. But tomorrow it is! :D

Dropped off those pants to be hemmed as well, so gonna pick those up and then go pick up the bike tomorrow!

East and North, almost in Quebec. Was hailing earlier, will try and get out tomorrow or the next day.

Dude, you're on the wrong forum, you want eastandnorthalmostinquebecmotorcycle.com, not gtamotorcycle.com. ;)

I've been breaking mine in the last couple of days. Glorious bike...all the little extras make a difference like a non agricultural transmission, ride by wire throttle, gear indicators, active suspension, nothing rattling. Bliss.

Nah, I ride down to the Big Smoke every once in a while.

I have to go down to where the roads are straight, to appreciate what I have.

Bike will be ridden tomorrow for sure.

First ride yesterday. A little cool but felt great. Both Hockley Road and Forks were in pretty good shape.

Be aware, the bridge near the entrance to Belfountain Conservation is closed so you can't get to Belfountain Village if you are coming in from Highway 10.

I've put on about 9,000km just in the off season this past year. Can't wait to do some real riding...

Went for a ride around east Hamilton yesterday was a blast while still a bit cold after work :) This weekend will be doing lots of riding!

1st ride of the season this morning. A little chilly with the wind but who cares. So good to be back out again.
