I just looked and the battery for my bike was more expensive than WalMart.
Might be be a better battery perhaps, but I like the Walmart convenience if I ever need warranty - take it back, show receipt, get new battery off shelf.

Just checked Walmart. The cheapest compatible Everstart battery (ES12BS) comes in at $86. On Yuasa.ca the YT12A-BS battery is listed at $89.50 (free shipping). For the small difference, I'd stick with Yuasa, as my current one is still the original 2006 with 80,000+ kms on it, so I'm happy with its durability. The same Yuasa battery from Canada's Motorcycle is listed at $125. Local shops are a bit higher yet.
Found this on another site: "Everstart is the private label for the Exide Battery corporation, and since Exide owns Yuasa all of the privately labeled Everstart Motorcycle batteries will most likely be Yuasa."

Take a page from PrivatePilots sage advice, wherever you are use the local Walmart. Props to PP.
The Walmart branded batteries are made by either Johnson Controls or Exide, as mentioned. Both are quality manufactures so don't let the Walmart part be of any concern.
I've bought many of them over the years, Including the last two batteries that I replaced from both of our Jetskis (notoriously hard on batteries) four years ago, which I subsequently sold and are now with a Snowbird in Florida who reports they are still going strong. Maintenance is key.
The thing that I do like about them as I mentioned is that the warranty is valid at any WalMart store, Canada or USA. If you are I was traveling and your battery craps out you're seldom more than a few miles from a replacement. The same cannot be said for ordering online. I had one of the 2 batteries in my truck short a cell while we were traveling on then west coast in 2008 and got a replacement with zero hassle - that's what sold me on the situation.

Maybe. Do you want to see your boss fall down? Or would you rather his business remain healthy while he pays you a living wage including some benefits? What about your loved ones and also the girlfriend? Do they want to see you work for less than your fair share?

Actuallly, I have a few older family friends who work there and seem quite content.
Its the younger crowd (the ones who want $20 to flip burgers and are upset they aren't allowed to spend 90% of their shift posting selfies on Instagram) that seem to dislike it.
Just sayin'. There's some who seem to mistake fast food and other entry level jobs as careers instead of just stepping stones down the path that should involve an education at some point, and subsequently, a better job. For the older crowd working there, many are either retired and just looking to fill their time with a few extra bucks out of the deal, or were in the aforementioned crowd at some point and never saw the light.

I've ordered several times from Pete's, no issues. It's not FREE shipping, maybe that's where the rumour came from? Fed Ex Ground is the carrier. Now that Tru-Dough has bamboozled the premiers into a federal carbon tax scheme (or the ones that weren't already twisting the screws), free shipping's days are probably numbered.

No, the website said "no shipping to Ontario" when you clicked on tires. Anyway, looks like that's been resolved. Gave a bit of a fright. Never had free shipping from pete's but was so cheap you wonder how they do it. Hate to lose that even adjusted for inflation.
