Matte Finish

Anyone else have a matte finish on there bike? I've washed it a few times, comes out okay. Any cleaning or care suggests?

I use the chemical guys matte detailer on my ducati monster black and have had no problems with it, gets everything off and doesnt mess up the finish

It's not that bad and the stuff lasts forever. I'm on season three with the original spray so I don't know the current price.

Don't mean to hijack the thread but I didn't want to start a new one. Last week I was washing my bike and I accidentally sprayed some SuperClean degreaser on the matte parts of my bike and now they're stained. I'm not sure if I can even get the stains off but does anyone know of a product that I could try to use.

Can't help the previous poster, but i use Zaino wash on my bike it's awesome.

^this. I don't understand why soap and water isn't good enough for people's bikes.

^ matte finish is a b*tch, soap and water work fine to clean it, the matte can't be waxed. It needs at sealant.

I would also like to piggyback something onto this thread. What do you recommend for Matte touch ups. My boots have caused some wear and otherwise the finish seems fragile. What's a good technique to restore it?
