New chain and sprocket

What

My chain is at the last leg of its life and cant be tightened/adjusted any more so its time for a new one and I will probably just buy new sprockets that are the same ratio as it has now. Its for a GS500F that I use to commute and light touring and weekend twisty action. I only plan on really keeping it for the rest of this year and all of next, so I was curious as to what kind of chain would be recommended to last the time period. (I average maybe 10,000km a year).

Was also curious where you would take it, and what it should roughly cost I live in whitby and was going to try GP but they seem so expensive for everything.

Any chain properly maintained will last 10,000 km, it should last well beyond that.

Yea I just stated how many KMs I do a year for a gauge on quality of chain to purchase, I dont really want to buy the highest X ring chain available if an average X/O will last long enough

Rosey Toes.

Always replace the sprockets along with the chain.

$100CDN shipped was the cheapest chain/sprocket set I could find for a sealed chain: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/1994-2002-SU...KET-/141438622128?hash=item20ee6619b0&vxp=mtr
