Spring Has Sprung! Bikes Outside My Window...

Took mine out for a 40km ride after work today, my first-ride of 2015. Cold asphalt + cold, hard tires, a bit of meltwater runoff here and there and a few potholes to dodge but mercifully little salt and sand though. Should have worn my heated gloves though; with my A* SP-2s my fingers were getting painfully cold in ~1oC temps.

Soooooooooooooooooooooooo nice to get back on her again.

Someone rode their Panigale to my gym yesterday. Bowmanville roads are brutal right now and the road the gym is on was completely covered in water and the road itself is all mud. I didn't even like taking my black SUV down that road. Dumba$$idea taking the bike out on those roads imo but hey it's your nasty filthy corroding bike.

But.... How am I to impress the chicks? How?

A vfr800 would be a lot more fund than an nc750s for half the price
A new VFR800 is $15 grand - same price as VFR1200 - kinda embarrassing for Honda I guess (because VFR1200 is not too popular).
So you're saying the VFR800 costs double but it will be a lot more fun, right?
I hear you, but I don't agree...
The VFR1200 would be a lot of fun though.

this winter wasn't bad at all!!!

I worked outside every weekday from Dec.8 to Mar.9 Anything above about -6C feels nice. I would not have said that in August.

I think it involved chemical alteration of the victim's mind

I admit that's not my style but for all the guys that believe a motorcycle is going to make them attractive to women it's a consideration.

Sand? you think that's sand???

Keep fooling yourself.

It's salt.

I rode my bike a couple times this week. The weather is fine but...... Sand everywhere, wet pavement everywhere, and construction everywhere in my area. It felt nice to be out but had to take every turn slower than my grandma cause I didn't want to risk sliding out.

This guy should be arrested and sent to jail.
His bike confiscated and hauled off to my garage.

Ya figure bro? Maybe it's my 'remembering' that's starting to suck then, heheh...
Winter was typical, I guess - but it's GONE now so fook it.
It always, always, always snows in April though (at least once) so, we're not out of the woods yet.
Makes those gorgeous days in March therefore even sweeter...

I don't think I recall any winter where it started to snow in November & was below zero for an entire February
