Kawasaki Ninja H2...750 cc supercharged.

So it looks like its gonna cost about $60k and and you guys were saying it couldn't possibly be $24000 like I said. Lmao

I seriously doubt the validity of an invoice for a bike that isn't even in production yet, especially one dated on the day a prototype was shown for the first time.

No one will pay over 2X an HP4 for a bike that cannot be raced.

Money and brains don't necessarily go together. There is always someone willing to pay. Even if they can't race it or ride it on the road.

Ummm not to argue with you because we all know that's pointless but look sir at a desmosedici. Amazing bike. Was 70k new and they sold. Does it eat a hp4? Likely not but people still bought them. It's called bragging rights. Those with the money would spend it on this h2r even if it's useless.

Exactly

Not exactly

That happened back when Ducati brand was considered somewhat exotic and the Desmosedici had direct lineage to the MotoGP bike. A bit of a difference.

I was using the example due to the price point was all. I doubt that invoice as well. My guess is it will be more than 60k

From all the videos (specially the last one) I think the new H2 will be a limited addition for those with big bank accounts it's gonna be another
Ducati Superleggera. I'm expecting $75K Canadian and a world wide production of less that 500.

And as for bikes they have aerodynamic looks and all but then you put a rider on it and it all turns to ****.

Basically, they get all the normal people hyped and the rich can buy them and never actually ride them lol.

Oh thats ok I just posted to say the opposite of somebody else. I believe thats the correct use of internet.

Kawasaki is finally getting their head in the game, albeit in a weird Japanese way. Brough built a dozen or so at $200k each and sold out, people wait for Nortons, Hesketh is back in production (making 24) and all great marques are in vogue and the millionaires are chasing just regular rich out of the market. An H2 new was what $1700. dollars, now a nice one is 10-12k. so why not trade on history. It could be 60K and if they limit enough production they will sell out. Its marketing , we have 12 pages of commentary about it.

I'm not saying that people won't buy the H2R... but the key difference between this bike and those bikes, is that those other bikes were at least street legal.

I was talking to the GPBikes guys and the 2 Superleggera Ducatis that were sitting there sold, would never be ridden. They were being put straight into collections. People are stupid

Some people need to turn paper into hard assets.

Yes, those bikes sell over and over again on ebay motors in the crate. There has been an active effort to doosh-out motorcycles like that and create a Ponzi-scheme market to try and speculate on bikes. It always fails, and one epicentre for this is in Toronto with Ducatis and "rare" two-strokes.

So, buy a bike, in crate, make X-ray of crate, hold on for years, sell bike in crate.

I wonder if he changes the oil before or after he put it on the stands?

One of (maybe actually) the first new indian's was delivered in its box to a well known developer without fluids. It is never intended to be ridden.

I heard the 2 were sold to one guy. Doesn't shock me but I fail to see the point. One for the living room and one for the "look at me" garage. Both never to be ridden? Waste of a perfectly good pair of bikes.
