Still lots of power but done with different engine characteristics. Lower revs, longer stroke but at higher volumetric efficiency more closely matching electric motors.
 
I can't wait for this thing, I hope it inspires a bit of a shakeup. Ideas an innovation are never bad! Just recently there's the H2, Formula-E, and the new NASA contract to Boeing/Space-X. The next few years should be interesting.

I've heard it's a little......lacking. Hopefully it will drive some innovation though, even if it doesn't last. I just like when big companies try new things when they don't necessarily have to, like the Nissan delta wing they sponsored at Le Mans last year. Keeps things interesting.

Sick. Sounds like a killer machine. At 750hp with 8lbs of boost it could be like a 1500cc bike without the weight. But what would anyone use all that power for on a public highway? Surely not to speed?

The Miata is only a fail if its actually hyped up. Fortunately, noone gives a **** about Miata so to me.... its whatever.

Uh, yeah. a ZX10R is around $15K. I doubt a supercharger will be $10K.
Likely close to the price of the ZX14R.
 
No Japanese sport bike is worth 24g. Only foreign sport bike can be worth that much.
