It's not too hard to minimize the tax we pay on a private sale of a used bike in Ontario


For the Ohio bike:
$3900 CAD for the bike
$90-200 RIV fee
$494 for in tax
$$ for extra gas

Definitely not a much better deal than Eli's R6...... How much will you save? And risk driving to Ohio to see a bike that might very well be a heap of ****?

But hey shelling out $1000 and a day or two worth of time to get a bike back from ohio is always the better bet
