How come "iPad" in a message turns into an eBay link?

I hit the opt out, but the links still show. I hope it doesn't use cookies to track your "opt-out" because there's no way I'm letting them track me for the sake of removing links from forum messages.

Figured out a workaround: If you're using Adblock Plus, go to Filter Preferences->Custom Filters->Show Filter

and then copy this link: http://cdn.viglink.com/api/vglnk.js and paste it into the filter list.

Apologies to Paul, but anyone who goes to the trouble of downloading and installing an Adblocker and then customizing the filter list manually was never going to click on a VigLink ad anyway...

My work around for the viglinks... I just ignore the links

I did notice that the Google Ads banner just below the main menu bar at the top is gone. I hated that because I would click it by accident when trying to click an item in the drop down menu for "Quick Links" > "Subscribed Threads".
