June 7th TMP, Roll call

At the end of the third session of the day (first beginner session) they came and asked me to use my uhaul trailer to go pick up a bike out on track. They ended up using my neighbours trailer.
They had to borrow a trailer to pickup the crashed bikes? Very well prepared.

Whatever. I still had fun even though I went down.

It's part of track. Sometimes this happens, oh well we got caught in it.
It's not "part of track". Any properly run trackday would not allow this to happen.

WTF!!

Hearing this kind of **** just confirms my decision to go racing with people that are serious about what their doing.

Sure sounds like everyone had a fun time.

That's crazy. Any track days I've done had a clear no drinking alcohol until the day is done, not until your day is done. Heck I visited Ric at a DOCC day at mosport, he (graciously) wanted to offer me a beer but I fully understood the rules since sessions were still ongoing.

I've never heard that rule before.

+1. Riders obviously, but I see no issue with offering my visitors a wobbly pop or two. And when I'm done I'm having a beer, has no bearing on the other people still riding.

Riding around in the pits on a pit bike with no helmet, while drinking, and running into somebody's track bike, that's a whole other issue. Pretty sure at other track days those people would have been booted out.

I was in the yellow xterra and on the blue 1k gsxr.
Yea the truck wasn't that sideways but I was helping us all by scrub in the track (I instruct for BMW Quebec for high performance track day in cars). Any one got any pics or vids of my bike? I was wearing the blue n white Suzuki suit.

Or advanced or what ever they called the top one. I was the bike that was really loud and kept power wheelies

You are losing at least a second on your power wheelies. Wanna get to the 121's? keep that wheel on the ground and brake later in the front straight, you have plenty of room to brake later and still have a good exit, use your markers (if you are not).

Zx600, if thats for me...I was on my street bike and no tire warmers, I always do 3 laps before I start to get it on. No form or good line, just warming tires.

I haven't got the markers figured out yet, but I'll for sure start working on them. Do you think I brake too early going into turn 2 too? Sure feels like it cause I brake hard and them am like "oh yeah, can carry some speed through here..." lol :(
