June 7th TMP, Roll call

Agreed post lunch was a lot better but I can't believe you had the best lap time after the spill. I crawled thru turn 6 all afternoon.

Well, some of us had gone out with our cars to try to get rid of the coolant on turn 6. My car did slip a few times during turn 6. I could only imagine a bike going through the patch at full throttle before the CAR LAPPING we done...

I think they should have give us 50% OFF for next time...

Yeah, I'll mess with my lap timer and combine my best pre-spill turn 6 sector time with post-spill and see how much it was slowing me down.

Lap times for the whole day:

Was it the girl in the k1 gsxr?

Must of been fun. Only "fun" car that lapped. Lol at the guy in the xterra. He was pushing that off roader hard.

That girl didn't do track at all. Just a spectator

yeah, i remember seeing her pull in, but not on the track.

I remember seeing a girl on a gsxr that looked new to the sport, that's why i was wondering if it was her.

That mazda was actually pretty quick

It was amazing man!
Always wanted to track my car but never had the opportunity to do so. That experience somehow helped me to push more with my bike. (even though the lines are different...)

At the end of the third session of the day (first beginner session) they came and asked me to use my uhaul trailer to go pick up a bike out on track. They ended up using my neighbours trailer. When he picked the bike up he went to park it in his spot, and I pointed him down pit lane where they were dropping the rider off. I could have swore it was the blue ninja 250 but it could have been something else.

Could have been.

I saw you had a dash camera, do you have the video up from the car lapping??

I was hoping to get out on the 21st or 22nd for a track day, anyone know who's running that one? I'm pretty new to the track and may have not seen the coolant and wiped out myself, kind of worries me. Hopefully it goes smooth from here on...

Yet another thread about how awesome TMP hosted days are, yet most of you will still go back :p

The 21st and 22nd are run by GYB/Guys With Bikes. I think they might be affiliated with Platinum Powersports. They run the $168 Intro to Track course on the Saturday and the Surviving The Streets course on Sunday. They are regular track days too, the students get "classroom" lessons while the track day is going on then when the track closes down at 5pm the students go out for their on-track lessons. I would say they are some of the best run track days, zero tolerance for messing around and a very thorough tech inspection.

Whatever. I still had fun even though I went down.

It's part of track. Sometimes this happens, oh well we got caught in it.
