the Nigerian Insurance Company (NIC) will do it for a kidney if you have a common blood type.

If the bike is in my name can it be insured under my step-dads insurance or would the bike have to be registered as his?

Sounds a bit fraudy.

I don't think it's fraud cause I would be put under the insurance as one of the drivers as well as him so they know I'm one of the riders, but if it is fraud I wouldn't want to risk it. Anybody know if this is allowed?

contact Paul South from Surnet. I'm 16 as well M2 with motorcycle training course and I pay $2120 for my 1983 Yamaha Maxim 400. As long as you've done the safety course you'll be eligible for a similar rate.

Thanks, I have contacted him.

then insurance would be based on your current and past credentials......your dad would be secondary rider. To claim anything else would be fraudy!

Okay, thanks for the information and saving me from probably screwing myself over in the future.

Won't matter. You'll be charged the same rates unless he lies and doesn't put you on and you ride which is fraud

This is my signature.....apparently

I'm 17 with a 2010 Ninja 250 with State Farm and I'm paying 55/month. This is with my dad as primary and me as secondary. I have M2/MSF and my dad just has M1 (he's getting his M2 soon)

I'm 39, I had a M1 when i applied for my insurance with TD. I have a 2013 honda cbr250RA.
It's costing me from May-Novemeber i believe, $1,020 for the season for insurance. That's with a 2 million deductible(I believe that's the part, the one where it's 1 mill default).

Also got a discount cause my spouse was a University graduate.

It's actually pretty cheap, price was no different with my M2 or if i had bought a cbr700+ bike.

Is it your dad's bike? See, insurance companies aren't dumb. If you have an accident and they find that this is an arrangement of convenience for you then you (and possibly your dad) are in for a world of hurt down the line. World of hurt as in finding only astronomical rates for insuring anything. Unfortunately as much as I disagree with the huge rates we pay here, there's a good reason younger riders pay more than older riders.

Desjardins..but get a quote with the VIN and not just model/year.
