Can someone Identify this exhaust?

While making my way to work I encountered a fellow Kawi but his sounded a lot better than my lawnmower. :lmao:

Seeing as I had a camera strapped to my head and I don't really like bothering people I did not ask what make/model the exhaust was but I am hoping one of you might be able to figure it out.

I think he may have changed his gear setup as well because his starts were slower than mine (had to slow or hold back a bit for fear of possibly hitting him every time the light went green) but once he got going he seemed be able to put a distance away from me easily

or it could be he's a better rider.

You can't be serious? Maybe if you if you got a pic from the side people could give you an answer.

250's sound terrible with an aftermarket exhaust

+1 ..sound like fart cans you hear in civics...never gonna put one on mine....

Didn't sound like a fart can though just sounded louder, deeper and far less whiny than the stock exhaust.

Just based on the tip outlet and shape, i'm going to guess either dan moto or delkevic.

Checked out a few vids on youtube and looks/sound like it might be the dan moto one.

Have you considered just saving the money you would put into another can and use it when you buy your next bike?

Sorry, it's early and I am feeling sensible.

I'm not changing bikes for another 3-4 years, insurance would kill me if I did, it's already raping my wallet as it is.

Anyway it's not like I'm going to go out and buy it right now, I'm simply considering it because the stock one is really quiet so cars don't hear it.

Any idea what front brake pads he's using?

Sounds like EBC brake pads

EBC Double-H Sintered brake pads, to be exact.

Everybody's a comedian. :lmao: It still go identified didn't it?

Don't really care about what's FAR in front of me, my concern is the sides and rear sides since those are the ******** that seem to want to run me over the most.

But noise from an exhaust is broadcast backwards, and is non-directional. Just making noise does not tell a driver where you are, and modern cars are so well noise insulated that it is all pointless.

If you want to sound cool in a tunnel, ok, but don't be naive about any safety features.
NTHSA is reporting another problem, Harley guys who are so loud they cannot hear emergency vehicles.

Could it be MGP Growler?

Iv heard a few of those on 250's and ... I aint even mad lol

When I used to ride a Ninja 250, noone ever saw me approaching from behind on the highway.

Now if I take the db killers off of the undertail of the FZ6, %90 of the people check their mirrors to see what's coming.

Having been in 3 accidents so far, there is no way I'm riding a quiet bike again. I do know the fine line between loud enough and obnoxious though, so I have only taken one of the db killers and left the 2nd in, as it is too loud with both of them out.
