Condo Parking Theft Deterrent

So you need to back up the car to access your bike.

Prolly fine for occasional riders but it would suck otherwise.

Never mind that condo buildings will not let you drill the concrete.

I wonder if i could do this on the street infront of my house lol

They don't even let you park the bike and car in one spot more less drill the concrete

That's actually tolerated in my building.
That is great, all condos have the same cookie cutter laws, some don't enforce them until someone for some reason complaints. I never had a problem when owned a condo but another guy that was a lot more visible was given a letter.

If they let you drill the concrete they're crazy.. but that becomes their problem.

In most buildings they require xray scans before allowing drilling/coring. In other words, it ain't happening.

Another one of these threads...continue parking in a condo and then every year act surprised when your bike gets stolen.

A steel cable with a good lock will save you a thousand bucks, enough pillars and stuff where you can anchor onto.

Bolt cutters... ?!?

That's how I park now. If it's going to rain, I bury the bike in front. If it's not going to rain, I ride.

Read where I mentioned "good lock" , a good lock with a 1/2" min steel cable will stop any bolt cutter, its enough of a deterrent that it will make 99% of thieves to move on to an easier target.

Cool, any advice on 'good lock' and 'good' cable?
Thanks in advance.
