Do motorcycles get stolen alot in toronto(scarbrough)

Don't park in underground condo garage.

And if you do park in underground parking, chain a big, mean, hungry dog to it.

yes, but that's why you get insurance.

You're worrying a tad too much - relax or you'll never enjoy ownership of a bike.

I've had 3 motorcycles stolen in Scarborough and that was 25-30 years ago.I'm sure it's not much better.

You have a CBR125, You could leave the keys in it and I doubt it would get stolen.......

Don't park it beside large teenage populations because they are the rightful owners of that bike

I have heard that the Po Po are setting up stings to get these bastards. Also on the same note, caught a few recently. Going to prison.

Good, hope they take it up the ***, no lube, out the mouth.

I think the po po are busy hypocritically handing out HTA 172's to ppl doing average road speeds.
they're busy meeting quotas,
and ensuring ppl have a tough time getting insurance. that's really what they do.

I'd recommend getting a disc lock that has alarm as deterrent.
don't park in underground condo
chain when possible.

other than that, just make sure you have theft insurance, and enjoy the bike.

lol. mean.

What about in public places eg. school, mall
`

...id imagine schools and malls are ok as theres a lot of people walking around as long as u park close to an entrance / beside other bikes if its an option.

I think the general public would find 2 or 3 guys loading a motorcycle into a truck @ a school or mall entrance suspicious and hopefully report it at the least...

Not at all, could not start my old bike at Humber College years ago, called a friend of mine, he showed up with his minivan, we threw the bike in, security didn't say a word, just starred at us funny.
