The perfect mattress....?

My experience mimics the one described in that article, about 8 years ago the ex and I walked into the store looking to spend maybe a grand or so on a new king mattress (we had a platform bed and didn't need a box spring) chose a mattress and on our way to the cashier we just happened to lay down on a stearns & foster and we were hooked, then we saw the price $6000+tax for the mattress (no box spring) didn't matter we had to have it, one of the best purchases I've ever made, I used to have really bad back problems and since then my back issues are virtually gone.

I learned that when it comes to mattress you definitely shouldn't cheapen out, when the time come to replace my mattress I'll definitely be looking for another S&F or something of equivalent quality.

I cant do memory foam tops....i toss and turn a lot so i tend to indent the middle of the foam and then i feel like i'm sleeping in a hole.

Wake up with bad back pain....i tried a memory top for 2 weeks and said i cant do it anymore. I slept one day on our spare bedroom bed and i was fine after.

Well..I'm enjoying the memory foam mattress I bought a few weeks ago. Backpain on waking is going away (compared to my old bed) and even though the bed feels firm to the touch it is perfectly supportive laying on my front, side or back.

Memory foam is perfect option if you don't always feel hot while sleeping and it's relatively inexpensive. I had both and prefer the latex one more.

I purchased a cheapo mattress 3 years ago ($200-300) from the company that I bought my bed at and frankly it's been the most comfortable one I've had in years. Maybe because I'm not really picky, but my wife has never complained about any pains or uncomfort sleeping on it either.
