Ninja 300 2013 vs Ninja 300 2014

Right but we're talking about OTD Ninja 300s not used ones, assuming you're considering the 400 dollars in administration fees not the mega cash discount that Kawasaki offers at this time of year.

I would get whichever year that has the green color scheme, the other color sucks IMO.

Black is the worst for a small bike, look like you are on a moped.
White is not the same as car's white, that modern and luxury kinda feel, no no
Grey is dull, look like you blend into the colour of the road.
Red is ok, on par with green, just not as sharp.
Green is the best, the eye catching colour takes people's eyes off the size of the bike!

Lol picky about colour much?

people will still buy them that's why they raised the price. Profit.

Ninja green is just hideous.

They do the same thing every year. For example, with the 650R it was exactly the same from 06-08, 09-11, 12-14, etc. Even then, the changes are mostly cosmetic. Although I think on the latest model they made ABS an option on the 13 and 14 when the 12 didn't have it but internationally it's had ABS since 06.

I could've bought an 08 for $4500 with 200 km on it (demo) or a brand new 09 for $8300 when I bought it because they dropped the price on the old style. I took the stupid choice though, lol.

My N300 already got brand new ECU and ABS replaced all for free cuz it was under warranty. It will be up for sale in May/June 2014 after I get my M license. I am thinking it should be around 3000 km or less by that time. Currently at 680km. Ebony, ABS model with no mods :)

Very forgiving and pretty fast for 300cc. If anyone is interested, please let me know. I bought for it a good price. I probably will lose money but low balls should be kept away =D

only 680km and you want to get rid of it? Waste of money that's for sure. Never understood why people buy brand new bikes with all the bells and whistles and turns around and sells it right away. Especially with the tagline "well, it's time to upgrade". You haven't ridden that bike to it's full potential yet.

Engine's not even at the point where he can rev it up (according to the manual anyway) so of course he hasn't ridden it to its potential. A 300 is plenty for any normal street use anyway.

Seems like he was planning to get a bigger bike to begin with and wants to send the 1000km service bill to someone else :P

Putting about 16k km on my cbr125 and I still can't ride it to its full potential (comparing to my bro who raced his 125 and 600). I just want a way out or be able to keep up with traffic on the highway and afford insurance thats all.

lots of people buy a bike and decide to sell it after 1 year (or less).
they bought their 2nd choice bike and want the other one, want something bigger, want something smaller, want something cheaper on insurance, dont have the time for it... whatever, there are lots of reasons. some people get freaked out the first time they get cut off. i remember last year (2 seasons ago now) there was a 2007 CBR600rr for sale, all stock with under 500km on it.. i think it was 250km actually. the girl flat out said she bought it new and was scared to ride it. i think it was blue, i watched the ad for a while but i wasnt in the market at the time... wish i would have jumped on i because i ended up selling my harley and hopping on a CBR this season anyway.

now im going to be building a harley (but keeping the CBR) i miss the cheaper insurance of the harley though... $500/ year... man that was nice.

Sounds like that girl didn't do any research at all before buying it. Or asked on this forum if it was a good beginner bike, heh.

Read my post again. I said the bike will be up for sale when it accumulates 3000 km.

Agree.

Disagree. Wanted to start small and upgrade later. Actually I am paying for the 1000 km service bill :)

I have less time to ride, and leg injury from gym made it worse.

680 km, how would you know how forgiving or how fast the bike is?

680-230 = 450 km. Thats what I have put on this bike. Quality over quantity :p

I read it the first time. Should've just bought a big bike the first time around. 3000km still is a drop in the bucket experience wise.

Just sold my 650R with just under 12k on it. Still feel like a noob.
