insurance companies buyback, sometimes they get very good condition bikes

make sure you understand titles before you buy. i.e. dont buy salvage if you plan to register it in ontario.

If it's anything like the boat auctions I've been to take a valium and keep your hands in your pockets. Too many overexcited buyers bidding on bikes in vague condition. Read and understand the fine print.

Once the hammer comes down "Sold" you own the bike. If someone rips it, tips it or a part goes missing you're SOL. $200 buyer premium on top of the sale. Bill of sale only. Where's the ownership and other stuff needed to register the bike? How do you get it home? There may be a storage charge if left there (At your risk)

Be there before the auction starts and listen to every word the auctioneer says. In case of a misunderstanding you lose.

Know your pricing and stay well below it.
