Do you have a fuel efficient bike?

LOL

I think my bikes all have the worst fuel economies in their class. The Tuono is one step up from a VTR 1000, which is not much of a recommendation for fuel economy... hahaha

Lies!

I got a 07 CBR125 and only last about 200-250km on the highway and around 300km commuting on city streets.

I don't really understand how people "baby" this bike when riding either as you barely go when you're not babying it.

How I'm going to miss cheap gas when I upgrade....

No lies here my friend. I rarely ride on the highway, mostly city (doesn't mean I don't hit highway speeds). I filled up yesterday for 9 bucks of 91 because I was feeling wealthy :P and I got 320 out of the previous tank with some left. I don't 'baby' the bike because we all know that's impossible on a 125 but I don't red line it everywhere.

Another reason I wont upgrade, love the cheap gas and my bike has served me well over the past 3 years as a commuter.

I got a klr650 , i get around 63 mpg .. usually mixed riding

Me too: even with a big-bore, a heavy rider, and doing 120 - plus kph with saddle bags, I easily get 61 mpg

4.7L/100KM on my 00 VFR, babying it would probably bring me closer to 4L/100KM.

Just wondering... why fill with premium for that first tank? What difference would that make?

I ride a BMW F650cs to work and back during the week. For $15 of premium gas I get about 250 to 300 km.

I'm just curious if this is good compared to other bikes? My current bike is only a single cylinder so I know it might me on the low side.

I eventually would like a bigger bike but I would hate to pay way more in gas.

What kind of bike do you have and how much does it cost to fill up? How far can you go on one tank of gas?

thanks
That sounds bad to me since I've read things saying those bikes get amazing fuel economy. That sounds worse than my 650R which gets worse than I expected from it.

That's surprising. My coworker has a Hayabusa and he said it does worse than his car which is some kind of large, high powered, AWD, Acura.

'12 zx6r, I get about $15-18 on 200 km, depending how I'm feeling those particular work days. I tend to stay in lower gears when I'm frustrated and feel like I need to vent more. Compared to my '11 Edge, I don't care what mileage this bike gets cause it can't be any worse, haha.

My FJ600 seems pretty bad. Mind you I mostly ride around the city - I get 180-190kms out of 15 liters (90% city/10% highway, which is typical). I ran a full 15l on the highway once and hit the reserve at 250kms, which is 6L/100kms.
