Motogp 2013

This was a freak accident, but Marquez has almost run into the back of slower people a bunch of times this season - that's why people are upset.
.
fixed

I don't see what the big deal about the Marquez overshoot. Never in a million years would anyone predict he'd clip a TC wire with his elbow. It was a racing incident. Sure he has more 'incidents' than the rest of the paddock combined, but he isn't doing a Bautista and crashing into people.

In the Moto2 race Redding and Espargaro actually touched wheels while leaned over coming onto the main straight and nobody even blinked.

Thats a freaking cruel title given the actual content *tear*
I'm glad he isn't actually racing.

Lol! Do you think he might have not understood the question? I think it was very clear. Most probably he wasn't sure if it's ok to share the information with the public IMO.

I think you're right about not wanting to or being able to share that info, especially since he's hanging on for the championship.

The 2014 schedule is out and no Laguna Seca (though Brazil and Argentina are added). Any idea what happened there?

Austin COTA basically took its spot. Austin is able to pay a higher sanctioning fee and hosts all 3 classes.

There is also a push to reduce the number of races per country. With USA with 3, they were on MotoGP's radar to reduce. Spain still has 4 races though.

That is correct, laguna was the only venue that did not have space for all 3 classes so they only ran MotoGP. Also it seems that laguna Seca was ran by a non profit which didn't have the dollars to compete with let's say Circuit las americas which is funded by the state.

The only reason Spain has 4 is because the MOTOGP of Hungary was cancelled at last minute and they used Aragon as last minute substitute. Aragon was never meant to be on the schedule and I imagine it will probably be off the schedule once they find a more suiting venue somewhere else in the world, the venue is far away from big cities and the attendance is not as good as most other venues.

One of the EuroSport guys wrote an article and mentioned that Honda is pretty much the only team that only runs one TC sensor at each location on the bike, most other teams have backup sensors all over the bike. He also said HRC's mentality is "work harder and get it right, no need for backups".

I find it a little weird that these bikes are heavily dependent on their sensors yet they don't feel the extra two or three pounds (multiple sensors and a bunch of cabling) are worth having that safety layer. Also that the ECU doesn't cut power if a sensor goes offline.
I understand there may have been a warning indicator on the dash but no rider is expected to notice it in the middle of a turn such as the one in this incident.

You liked it that much ^^^ lol
I sure damn did, made me almost spit my tea out, mostly just because of the context it was in, everyone arguing over which bikes were too close, left, right, "but there's only one bike on the left?" lol. When I read your comment it just summed it all up perfectly :) *hugs*

wtf is "sooking"? Is that some lame synonym for sulking?

Urban dictionary says: to sulk, crack a sad and act like a big fat baby when you don't get your own way.

Dictionary.com says : (from) Australia and New Zealand. a timid, cowardly person, especially a young person;
