Hayabusa Question?

Wondering if anyone here has a 2013 Busa?
If so, did you, or didn't you get the plastic / 2 up seat / bubble cowl with the bike as in the past?
Please - only 2013 owners.
All other model years don't matter. (I know the answer).

Thanks.

While not a busa, I was told on the gsxr as of 2011 the solo cover was now an option and you had to pay for it. Perhaps the same deal? :dontknow:

edit: last one i saw at a dealer didn't have it

Guys in the states are getting them on their 2013s, not sure if any difference in Canada. I've only seen 1 at a dealer, and I can't recall if it had the hump or not.

Roomie: dude told me it's only the Hayabusa. He said all the GSX-R's come with both.

Mike: If they don't do it here, that's just dumb.

-D-: It was the 1st thing I did when I got home. I got the generic "we got your email" email.

Ted: You don't know how close I came to the Panigale "S" (not on the list). Yes - it's a done deal. Get it tomorrow.

He lied. I've had more than one dealer tell me they're extra now. Either way congrats and I hope it's black :p

I made him go and ask someone with a clue. That's what he came back with
Yes - it's the black '13. Slip actually says "black & green". There's not a bit of green on it. Like my '10 750. It was the "root beer" colour. Ownership said "silver".
Pic here shows the hump ffs

Not for nothin but I'd be willing to bet the busa is ten times more comfortable to ride any kind of distance.

If that's what its all about get a Harley...I rode almost 500 hard k's Sunday on my Panigale R. , done the same on my other bikes.

You chose that over the panigale s....wierd

When you're 62, post up to those still alive what you're rock'n junior.
I'll be long gone.

The Panigale "S" is unlike anything I've ever ridden. Hands down the best ride I've had in 45 yrs of riding nearly every bike out there.
I chose comfort.........not sure about 10X better, but close.
I also prefer doing my own general maintenance.
Had there been a Duc dealer in Hamilton, I think I might have opted for the Panny.

.
You were 62 when you went to look at the panigale and what does the proximity of the dealer have to do with comfort.
Excuses excuses..Im 44 not 20...there was a guy a few years ago who was 75 years old...rode his R1 to track days from toronto to shannonvile and other tracks...rode the track all day then rode that bike home.
im pretty sure it's the shape you are in not the bike.
the man who trains my horses and taught me to ride them is 64, rides 10 plus horses a week and competes in extreme cowboy...again it's the shape your in not the horse or saddle.. Enjoy your hayabusa

Congrats Gary! Enjoy your new ride buddy.

Let all your fans here know what you're riding @ 62. Simple enough?
Don't care about horse trainers - booze is key. Don't care about 100 yrs olds on R1's.
And you're right - I'm in horrible shape. Need 2 knee replacements fifteen yrs ago - putting if off so I can still ride, have a rod and a bunch of hardware holding my lumbar together for the last 22 yrs. Last time I tried, 12 hours on a GSX-R was like a walk in the park.
Proximity of the dealer has nothing to do with comfort, in case you're not trolling.
It was simply part of the criteria that wasn't met in my search for a new bike, along with all the Ducati specific tools I'd need to buy, for no other reason. Have enough of those already.
Cheers.

congrats on the new busa. i ride one because the only *** im out to impress is my own.

I TOLD YOU SO!!!
