Making a track bike into a street bike

If you want a streetbike buy a streetbike
Don't track your streetbike (you will crash, everyone does)
If you want a trackbike buy a trackbike
Don't street ride your trackbike (the strongarm hammer of the law will come down, it always does)

lol, elaborated alittle on Mr. Azim's lesson.

I ride my 6 and750 on street and track. Takes 45 min to switch oem to armour bodies. I run mid red group. And have not crashed at a trackday. Save crashing for race practice or racing. Then we all get the most track time. :)

If you want a street bike: buy a street bike... don't convert your track bike.

end of lesson.

Okay calm the eff down with your one sentence lesson lol

Appreciate the advice

Honestly I wouldn't want my track bike to be my street bike. Suspension requirements vary differently from the track to the street. Do you really want to be changing settings everytime you go to the track? If you're just casually riding track once or twice a year that's fine. Jack of all trades is a master of none.

If you are going to do it there are a few things you need to consider:

1- Were the lighting connections left intact, sometimes people remove them when they convert to track
2- How many km were street and how many km on that bike were track - remember that a track bike spends most of the time above 12000 rpm, if it has high track km, it may need some work soon
3- You will have to buy all the screws for the fairings, lighting etc.
4- this is obvious but ensure that the bike was not a total loss from an insurance company and that you are able to register it.

To me after the cost of the bike, plus the plastics and lighting and the work to put it all together is not worth it.

And also, if this is your only street bike, you DO NOT want to track it - **** will happen eventually at the track
