Motogp 2013

Holy crap the US coverage poor.....lead change and nothing mentioned.......Hayden passes Dovizioso on the final lap and ends up losing a place ( I think) and they get all excited......hope the sport grows enough so the commentary improves in the US.

+1 agree 100% i hate watching any of the us gp just for that reason, commentary they don't know squat!!

The ducati pass on the last turn was so awesome, all 4 wheels were off the ground at the same time after going off the apron. I will try to find the slowmo tomorrow.

I'm at the GP this weekend. Seeing Marquez's lean in person yesterday was simply mindblowing.

I was there as well... My first time at MotoGP. It was great, but I wish I had better lenses on my camera.

Woo got several Ducati passes in turn 2 and 3. Will up load my vids here for you viewing pleasure. Got some great shots from Saturdays qualifying from turn 7. Was an incredible experience watching it in person. Got to meet Hayden and got autographs and pics. Would definitely go again.

Found a gif of it.
It's too bad the bike is the limiting factor in that team. Dovi and Hayden aren't getting their talents milked properly. Such a shame.
I can only hope Ducati builds something better for 2014 now that management has been shaken up by Audi.

Indianapolis "airborne" pass, Hayden puts the move on Dovi:

As I said to my buddy, seeing that pass for 4th in the last 2 corners was great, but the Hayden move at the end was what got me out of my chair screaming "**** YEAH!!!" at the television.

That got even sweeter when Smith came out of the shadows and stole 7th...by inches.

The race was fantastic. There wasn't a ton of action at the front, other than Marquez absolutely tearing it up. There was lots of action all the way back to 10th place though, which is pretty good.

Rossi really impressed me. As soon as he started taking half/full seconds out of Bradl every lap, it was just pure Jaws music in the background. His battle with Crutchlow and Bautista was awesome to watch, there were tons of times when there could have been big crashes, but they all kept it up. Fantastic stuff. As soon as Cal cut off Rossi, you could just see that Rossi wasn't having any of that, and he was going to get by, no matter what. Also, Crutchlow doesn't really have an excuse for not keeping up with Lorenzo/Rossi this weekend, as he got the 'improved' fuel tank that he has been asking for.

Hayden/Dovi is always great. It's just so sad that their bike sucks so bad. Bradley Smith passed them both in the last corner for the second time this season, he must have had the biggest grin on his face when he saw them jump the curb.

I was disappointed to see that Spied ruined his other shoulder.

The Moto2 race was terrible until the last 5 laps. Redding and Rabat both put on a good show.

Great weekend! Great weather! Great racing!

Happy that next year is still going to happen, so I'll be back :)

Hayden and Dovi clowning it up and nearly putting each other into the rhubarb patch was great televison, for the second time. Glad everybody stayed upright. The American announcers so "pleased" to have an American to highlight.......

Its the next biggest International motorsport following F1 and the Americans need a homer in the show.

And they've just recruited themselves a new victim to ride their crappy bike. Why Crutchlow, why?

Great weekend at MotoGP. Camped out with the buddy on lot #2. Downtown was insane Friday and Saturday. Saw ambulance knocking over 3 custom cruisers (Harleys I think). RIP Mr. Ambulance driver.
Race was great to watch.
Got to ask Nicky Hayden a question when he came out to the crowd on Friday.

What did you ask? :0

What other options did he have? He is getting ousted from Tech 3 regardless. Either end up on a satellite bike, or take the payday and hop on the factory machine. Either way I'm sure his results will suffer, at least with the Duck squad he has a 2 year contract and maybe they can make the bike competitive in that time.
