I sold my bike today, oh boy

THIS is the #1 reason why I do not associate my feelings towards any MACHINE!

One moment they're there and the next they're gone! and all you are left with are the memories,be it good or bad.The bad ones you forget but how can one forget the good ones..

It is Just a machine!

I would say its about passion. If you have something your passionate about, it could be a person or an object and try to depart from it, you'll feel uncomfortable.

I feel you OP, hope you get back to riding soon.

Go away until you "get it" noob.

That's a shame OP, ex-wife made you sell your ride... absolutely heartless. What's keeping you from buying a new one next season though?

My guess would be alamony/child support?/divorce lawyer. My uncle just went through a divorce, cost him $54000

Yeah, seriously, do people get choked up over their toasters when they stop working?

Sorry to hear OP. Divorces (im assuming) can be hard on the wallet. I know from experience. . The only thing I didnt give up was my bike, for my sanity. Good luck and hopefully you will be back on a bike soon! :)

Real Men don't sell their bikes.
Now get out there and go buy some $2k bike and ride.
Spend some time on a cafe type metric cruiser, even an old Vmax should be fun and cheap to insure.
good luck!

this my friend makes sense!!!

thankyou for getting my priorities straight!

Gary, it sucks to hear you're done too...get that 'Vette you want and bring her out to BB every now and then.

I'm down, (way down) but not out Jason. It's bothering me so much, I just threw out an offer for another one - accepted. I'm just waiting for an ins quote, then I'll be heading up north to pick it up.
New 'Vette should be getting ordered this week, bike, or no bike :D

Buy a vette and you'll forget ALL about your street ride. Thats what i did ..

I've been riding the street for the better part of 44yrs. I'll still order a vette, but I NEED a bike more than I expected.
(What yr is yours? Pros / cons? thanks)

I bought a C5 from an estate sale late last year. Guy who owned it barely drove it and only had 55 k on it.
Ive now put my own touches on it, and love it.

Great car, i got a 6 spd ( the only way to go) and has lots of power. The con is everything for these cars are damn expensive.

I think ill drive this for another year, and sell it and buy a C6 Z06 supercharged.
