New asphalt laid on Thursday.

Corner 1, entrance to 2, corner 7, hairpin, first half of S, and misc.
 
It's about time. My list of places that needed fixing on that track is a lot longer. Does "misc" include any of this?

Second half of the chicane (Why only do the first part of it? The second apex is just as bad)
Long track 6A-6B (far worse shape than 7)
The hole exiting long track corner 3
 
The hole exiting 3 is part of the misc. But now rather trying to miss a hole, now you have no choice but ride over a patch as it goes across entire track. Same on hole on exit 5.

Pavement needs to cure still

3 times yesterday for me coming out of hairpin. Managed to save it all
3 times.....though going into hairpin in 1st place and reentering asphalt at 3rd place....o well.....

It will be great when it cures. But they didn't do Allan's which is really bumpy right now. Perhaps they are not yet finished... they only paved it Thursday.
 
We were there in eve on Sat. What a surprise having new asphault on the track. Did find some of the new stuff a little on the slick side.

T1 is sooo smooth now.

It's hard to imagine railing through turn 1 without chattering teeth and pucking cheeks. LOL
 
I gotta watch out on the second last corner before the grand stands. I went in hot a few times and the bump sent my back wheel in the air and sliding sideways a few times.

i believe its turn 13.

It was awesome going through there without hitting that entrance bump and being able to hold 4th gear all the way. It's now a REALLY fast corner.

Going into Allen's isn't as bad as it used to be and they paved between the second last/last corner. I felt like I was able to break much later into Allen's then before.

The chicane is now awesome that they paved it. There were definatly more spots that could be paved but lets be thankful for what they did and hope next year they do a few more sections.
 
I would think it'll get better but ya right now you can go pretty damn fast in one (I was carrying 4th into it and wfo just past the apex) but the hairpin was still slick on Sunday. I almost tucked the front there and my TC would go nuts on exit. The new pavement was slippery but rideable, just be cautious untill you get a feel for it.

LoL - and getting bucked on that entrance bump!

I went wide on the hairpin, which gave me a pucker because it drops off a little before the curbing on exit and there were marbles in there.
