I'm looking to go to Grand Bend next Thursday for the first time. It's a 3 hour drive from where I live so driving there the same day as the track day is out of the question. If you know any reasonably priced motels ($50-70/night) around the area please post them. Not looking for something fancy, just need a safe parking spot for my car and bike and a clean bed to sleep for the night before.

I stayed at the bluewater motel, it was nice, clean and I'd stay there again.. As for price I'm not sure if its the cheapest place to stay, you'd have to call and find out what they are charging.

Do you sleep though? I want to get at least 5-6 hours of sleep the night before. I can't fall asleep going to bed at 10-11 pm, I'm used to sleeping past 1am

I regularly get up 5:30 or earlier, so I'm used to it. Getting up at 4:30 for Shannonville isn't much of a stretch from my normal. I'd say I run on exactly 5-6 hours of sleep for those days. Most days of my life actually. LOL

Thanks for the info guys. How many days in advance do you need to pre-register for Grand Bend to get the advance sale prace for this Thursday? I know for Cayuga it's 1 week, but at the GB website doesn't mention anything... I want to wait as long as possible to make sure there is no chance of rain. Today at TMP we missed the first 3 hours because of the rain, seemed like a waste

I think it's one day. They don't run credit cards until the evening before the track day.
