So, I'm on my way to work.
I'm getting cut off like normal.
I'm right beside the guy, in my lane, on the horn, trying to pull ahead of him so he doesn't cream me. Just like any other day.
Guy just continues to pull into my lane. But he is just ****** at me, I mean ****** freakin off.......
AT ME???????
He cuts me off, and gets ****** off at me????
He puts the old finger up and holds it up for 3 minutes.
I catch back up to him and he's still got his finger up.
I keep pointing at myself, like to say, ME, What the hell did I do???
He keeps the old one finger salute.

Most people who cut into my lane and see that they cut into my lane feel sorry and give me a sorry sign.

Not this guy.

Rant over.

Sorry folks.

Was it a red delivery van? Same thing happened to me this morning on the spadina circle, ****ing cop watched him almost run me right off the road after he veered over without signaling in the middle of the turn. Guy wouldnt even acknolwedge he almost ran me over, no shrug, nothing, just a dead stare.

100 yr old lady tried to crush me at the Caledon roundabout today. Don't think she comprehended what she was seeing. Just kept looking straight as i hit the brakes and straightened up and pulled behind her. I tried to be mad- but she was too ancient- so i ended up being sad and contemplating old age for a while as i rode to work.
Would have been awesome if she stuck me an old arthritis-curled finger.

A lot of people are ******** and genuinely don't care when they do something stupid and almost kill someone. Or they feel like they are entitled to do so. Generally because they don't understand right of way or traffic laws or are just ******** in general.

I'm getting cut off like normal..

That shouldn't be normal, even with all the frustrated Leaf fans. Yes, I commute to Cock-Bag Central (Downtown Toronto for you 905ers) so I know what it's like. The FU drivers are pretty rare and easy to spot (sagging euro wiener-sedan of some sort). It's the texting zombies that worry me more--they come in all formats, even motorcyclists. You wouldn't believe this one chick on a scooter texting during stop n' go traffic with a gravel truck on her bumper. Amazing.

Ha-ha! The spellchecker suggested a correction for eurowiener-sedan: euro wiener-sedan or euro-wiener-sedan. The fact that it's actually a term totally made my day and gives me hope for the future. Thanks GTAM!

Yea, sounds about right. Just be careful.

Agreed, old people's vision exists only straight ahead, no sides or back.

I saw some girl texting while driving in stop-go traffic on the way to work just now on DVP north bound.... i stared at her and she didnt even bother looking up

Once you realized that he was coming over, why did you try to pull ahead of him? Why not brake and let him have the lane (even if he is in the wrong)?

We all ride aggressively at times, but being 10x smaller and lighter makes me pretty damn humble at other times. This wouldda been one of them.

Proving yourself right to cagers isnt' worth the possible outcomes.

Need to come the f down in general - for all riders.

The way i see things, is that traffic in the gta is becoming ******** all the time and with the me first mentality of people in general, people are getting really frurstrated. We're only a short time away from road rage incidents occuring.

I don't like to contirbute to giving people reason to dislike bikers - but i'm guessing this guy has his issues with the bikign community and is sticking it to them.

It's not personal to you but the dude is angry, and you're gonna lose if it comes down to it. Not worth the risk homes...

I believe these days the internet is shutting people's brains down.

This is people driving

I say this as I type on the internet

My experience has been drivers letting me go ahead of them - at 4-way intersections, even if they arrive at the stop sign ahead of me or when I am pulling out of a drive. I always thought it is because my bike is so cool they want to get a good look of me and my bike. But then I don't ride in rush hour traffic when sad saps sit in their miserable tin cans going to their pathetic jobs, they'd do anything to make their insignificant existence more noticeable.

Yes, slow down,/try to get away safely.

I was on the qew and some idiots thought it would be interesting if they kept throwing stuff at me. Through the sunroof of their car. (it was somewhere around Hamilton...)
I brake, they brake. I change lanes, they follow.
They were throwing handful of sunflower seeds and juice at me.

Anyways.. It is what it is.

Just be safe and smart out there.

My favorite is the ******* who feels the need to tailgate you. In the middle or right lane. Go the **** around **** face.

This whole thing happens to me on a daily basis. Just yesterday I was cutoff brutally 3 times while riding on the 401. Honking sometimes works, sometimes doesn't do anything at all. They just ignore me.
I got so used to it, I don't even get ****** anymore, I just expect it and try to protect myself as much as possible.

You know what's worse? A-hole motorcyclists. These idiots think it's cool to pop a wheelie beside your group, cutting in inches apart from a newbie rider, lane-splitting with you at high speed.... yeah, sometimes cagers are not that bad. I'd say this because as riders we all know the risks when we hop on 2 wheels. Knowing what we all know and they still behave like idiots. That's 2 nights in a role that my group had experienced this in two different areas. /rant off.

To the OP: sometimes there're the ones that no matter what you do will never change them. Just drop back behind them. Karma's a ***** and it'll catch up to them eventually.

I was caging it & a disability taxi kept driving in 2 lanes. Apparently he don't know which lane is best. Then when he finally drove in one, he decide to change his mind & come in mines. I laid on the horn, then when I passed him I flailed my hands asking him what's wrong?

He seem to cool down.
And I felt much better. I don't like bottling up things anymore
