Not sure if anything even exists, but does anyone know of anything other than a traditional lighter that I can light up with while I'm riding? The flame just goes out every time there is a bit of wind, so I'm looking for something else that would work better. Thanks! :)

What's wrong with a traditional car style lighter integrated in one of your plastics ? If you loose it - it's cheap to replace and serves as a power source when needed :)

hook up a cigarette lighter similar to a car, that would be easy. I have seen some torch lighters that are pretty serious for windy situations. Dont see too many people smoking while riding though. Curious do you ride long distances and can't stop for 5 min to have a butt or just crazy addicted like one after another? I have never smoked and ridden my bike, would think the butt would just disappear super quick from the wind. Maybe switch to chewing tabbacco....

A butane torch or as Gary pointed out, Maybe an e-cigarette, then you won't have to light it or worry about ashes in the eyes.

They see u trollin..

I'd be more concerned about the effect that 10 or so amp draw would have on your bikes charging system

I would go with the muzzle flash from a Wildey 475 myself.

Lol, one way to poison yourself. I think they still have asbestos in certain pads
I once saw a guy light his cigarette from a self destructing Li-Ion battery pack. I can't believe he didn't die or at least have to go to the hospital. My friend who lost half a finger when his flashlight exploded was in the hospital for more than a month with Hydrofluoric Acid poisoning :(

I don't think there's any carcinogens in Li ion batteries, but asbestos is known to be bad for you

Sent from my tablet using my paws

Get with the times and get a smart phone. There's an app for that! :p

Why not just one of those things that looks just like a lighter but is actually a butane torch with like a blue or purple flame. People used to play with those things all the time in high school and they were pretty much immune to wind.

Thanks for all the help guys...I think I would prefer not to use a part of my bike to light a cigarette though. I'm just worried with a butane about potentially getting burnt with the big flame. I don't often smoke while riding, but from time to time on long, straight rides I might have one. However, I've also found this to be an issue when I'm out fishing sometimes and it's a bit windy. A friend of mine found a really cool lighter yesterday that I just bought online at www.elementlighters.com, so I'll update you once I get it and try it out. Seems like it might just do the trick...I hope!

Hey everyone, just thought I would give a little update. I got my Element Lighter and I LOVE it! Works amazingly well as an alternative to a flame and it is so awesome that all I have to do is re-charge it instead of having to pay for lighter fluid. You can buy it at www.elementlighters.com. I highly recommend it!
