Note there is an important distinction under the atheism umbrella..


Strong atheism -- There are no deities.
Weak atheism -- I believe no deities exist, but permit the possibility (pending evidence).

Yeah, I have to tuck my elbows in to see behind me as well, though, dropped like 35 lbs since riding season ended last year, maybe since I have less arm flab this year I'll be okay :/

Hitman/Serial Killer Richard Kuklinski once went to kill a guy...He had no problems talking about all the guys he killed but in this instance he has to pause and says he shouldn't have done it the way he did...

"He was begging me for his life, praying for god to save him...I said you know what, I'll give you a half hour to pray to your god and see if he can change your circumstances...A half hour went by and god didn't come down and change his circumstances..."

Now they're making a movie on the guy, I wonder if it will have this scene...
 
I love how absolutely any thread has the potential of becoming a theological debate (or mud-slinging extravaganza).

For what it's worth, I'm pretty sure atheism in any of its forms is, by definition, a denial of the existance of god/gods.

What was defined as 'weak atheism' above, is more accurately called agnosticism.

Correct but Agnosticism and Atheism are not mutualy exclusive. One can be an agnostic atheist.

Atheism is only a responce to a claim that God exists there are alots of answers that are different but would all be atheist as long as its not a positive confirmation of the claim.

I tend to to be a week atheist depending of the specifcs of the god and how its being defined. For some I will say straight up dont exists depending on the avalible data.
