Wondering if there's any interest in a group forming to ride PA for 2 days. I'm a civil 40+ sport touring riding family guy looking for similar company. I saw a group (passing me :o) in my cager headed south last year.. looked way fun. I can go midweek to to avoid traffic / border delays.

Pm me with your email and tel#.Next time we go down there Friday pm to Sunday pm, I will check with my group if you can join us. If one of our riders can't make it that weekend, I'm sure you can fill in. We keep our group small and never travel with more than eight riders! We're leaving on the trip to Colorado and Utah on the 24th of May for two weeks, so it will be the end of June at the earliest, before we ride in PA.

hey I fit into that category. I ride a Triumph Sprint. I was down in PA last weekend in that amazing weather. I would be up for riding together for a PA trip. When were you thinking?

hey . if it will get me out of doing dishes at home im in. thru the week is better for me too. we could even do one long day which will get us down pretty far and will get us home in time todo the dishes. pm me

What are is your target date?

Sent from my tablet using my paws

I was thinking of going down the weekend of may 24th.Would be able to leave Friday around lunch or sat very early like 6-7am to extend the riding once I get there.Had so much fun last year can't wait to do it again

Probably stay in Coudersport or Williamsport. Head home Sunday mid aft to be home in the evening.

I am looking to get 5-6 riders to go to keep the group small and things simple.Sorry I don't mean to hijack this thread but I don't see any point in starting another one as I fit the criteria (40+ and sport tourer);)

So post up if interested and we can start the planning cause hotels are tight down that way

3 of us are going to Coudersport leaving Saturday the 18th and staying until Wednesday. Staying at the Laurelwood Inn if you drop by you can join us. We are all in our 40's and not crazy riders. Look for a Silver Sprint GT that will be us!

Usually we start out with breakfast at Fez's Diner around 9am

Thanks Taximan62 but will just miss ya heading down the friday or sat.Fez diner serves up a good breakfeast for sure.Whats the Laurelwood Inn like? Last time I stayed at Pauls Citgo in Coudersport and it is a bargain but leaves much to be desired so looking for an alternative

I would be up for the May 24 weekend to PA. Will keep track of this thread and firm up closer to the date.

To all those that were pm'ed get on it cause we have 3 confirmed and will be maxing out at 6-8 riders and yes King of course will do it again in mid to late June.Pnosko you are more than welcome but you will need to commit in the coming days as I will be booking the rooms soon

Thanks guys and I apologize once again for the hijacking:)

I'll be heading down with a friend to Hagerstown MD, to have work done on the ZX14 on Sat morning after that it'll be riding around PA.

Keep this thread updated as to your plans on Sat and maybe we can hook up. If not then perhaps another weekend.

During the week is perfect for me, PM when you want to plan something.

Nice reply's & invites. Thanks! I figured most are weekenders. Have a great trip everyone. PM'd the guys who can go weekdays. Hoping to make it a weather dependent 2 day soon. Looks to be a few nice cabin rentals in the Susquehannock State Forest area. Might be nicer than motel-ing it.

I just googled it, a cabin would be better, looks like a fun area to ride as well

Nice area - unlikely to have wifi or cell coverage if that is of any consequence. Be careful to time your fuel if not staying near one ( lots of bad things with Pauls but good thing is fuel right out front and wifi access and the diner down the road. :D )

Laurelwood is $50/night single. Old but it is just a bed to sleep. Free WIFI and they have a bar an steakhouse as part of the Motel. Great steak! Just a couple of minutes down the road from Pauls and just before Fez's. Can actually walk to Fez's just 5 mins up the road.

I'm always up for PA weekend. make it 3 days and call it West Virginia weekend :)
