You don't really need turn signals if you're hand signaling.

I had Watson Design on my RR, they're flush mount, they were much brighter then the Hotbodies junk that came on the bike. They came with the resistors built in and were straight plug and play. They're expensive, but pretty damn bright.
I put a Tripage integrated taillight on it too. Look on 600rr.net for pics and more info, some exhaust block the light more then others. People have made links to lower the exhaust down, or cut the exhaust shorter to make the light more visible. Theres tons of info on 600rr.net for that bike.
Neither of these are going to improve you being seen compared to the factory stuff...

hey guys, i just picked up a 09 CBR600rr yesterday, its my 2nd bike. she came mostly stock but with Pazzo levers (real ones..lots of fakes out there) double bubble tinted windscreen (not installed yet) and a couple other little things.
im going to do the fender eliminator eventually, but i want to start off with different signals because im not a fan of the oem ones.
what are my options, i dont really know where to get the flush mount ones other than ebay, and i can only guess that the $20 ones are top quality.....
any links to where i can get reasonably priced ones, hopefully with resistors, and that are bright enough. if i dont have to splice them in that would be nice, but not a big deal.
i think i read some just stick on with 2 sided tape and others have a nut and bolt style.
ill be doing the under tail with signals built in as well (i like that it will get the attention of the drivers a little more), but that will most likely be towards the end of summer when i change the exhaust...im not a fan of the OEM fender but until i can do it right its gotta stay, ill probably order a couple parts at a time...i went way over budget on the bike but i got what i wanted so im ok with it...so for now, just signals lol

I have the exact same bike. I bought it mid way through the season last year. Great bike!
I've been thinking about a Fender Eliminator too. I liked the one from Tripage. They even have the rear passenger peg with the built in signals. And you can customize if you want LOTS of LEDs on them.
Might want to check that out.

i just dont like hack jobs on anything, its got to be done properly. im even thinking of getting front mirrors with the built in signals.

i know most aftermarket plastics are junk, but is there anywhere that has some ok ones for a reasonable price?
ide like to change out the mids/boomerangs to white and a black tail section.
I think someone on here or 600rr.net is selling that eliminator kit. I remember seeing it the other day.
I'm planning to buy the TST undertail and IT once it's ready. When I do, I'll be selling my current IT modded from a 1st gen RR for cheap. It has sequential blinkers that are very apparent.
Think I've also got some flushmounts lying around somewhere. If I can find them you're welcome to come grab them for free.

That would be triple the width of the integrated tail for a 600rr. I agree with others, these are difficult to see what the light is indicating, it's all jammed in way too small of an ares regardless of how bright the light is.

this isnt my first bike..and wont be my last...already done all that..closet full of gear, i just need new boots, destroyed mine last year.
this thread is about modding the bike....and keeping it somewhat legal but still maintain the usefulness off the signals.
matter fact... i joined a year before you, and i got my M2 back in 2005

your last post sounds to me like you think im 16 and just jumped on a SS as a first bike.
if i mis-interpreted it i apologize, but im 29 and its not my first motorcycle, but with that said, it is my first time on a SS and i am by no means a professional racer, or a fighter pilot...nor do i claim to be.
ive taken the safety courses over the years, and have proper gear. im going to get some different styled gear, new boots and a white mesh jacket, but thats a whole different story, ive got a joe rocket leather jacket and a silver mesh one..but i want white.
anyway, just took her for a little spin, wow...shes amazing!
i really want the tank grip pads and ive got to get use to the signals and lights locations, its completely different than my harley lol.
i probably wont take her out much till the roads are all swept up and the weather gets a little warmer.
This. Just ride the ****in thing. Then fix the broken bits as you learn.

Id suggest Watsen Design flushmounts. Not the cheapest, but the best quality out there. Expect to wait 8 weeks ish for them as he produces them on demand. Trust me its quality worth waiting for. Also, go with the Tripage tail light vs the TST. It sits flush with the tail section and just blends in better. Nice guy to deal with also. And like someone else said, join 600rr.net One of the best forums around that is bike specific. And for those that say don't modify it and just ride it......... its your bike do what you want to it. Part of the fun of bikes is all the custom options available which is part of the fun. Pm me if you need any advice with your CBR.
