Earliest I can purchase the bike is in January so it won't be for a bit but I will definitely do some shopping.

Yeah I've checked them, they all seem to go around:

CB100R = Slightly slower, more "nimble" feel.
Z1000 = Faster, heavier feel.

I've thought of the StreetFighter. As badass as it looks, I'm a bit iffy about owning a Ducati while my career hasn't fully taken off incase the maintenance ends up kicking my ***. I know some will argue that it isn't expensive, but I've asked the dudes at Rosey Toes and they told me it DOES cost more. I'll take their word because they've never done me wrong.

In the future though....definitely looking into a StreetFighter.

lol
If anyone complains that one 1000cc ss is faster than another they might need to get checked into a mental hospital :D

I look forward to when Chinese writing guy becomes a keyboard expert in litre bikes. Those threads will be gold.

not much difference from his GS500F to a Litre SS.

Well perhaps you should stick with the Gs500 until you become an "expert" on that then upgrade.

How is it so cheap? Considering the mileage and year...most of the used bikes on this site and Kijiji for the same spec are in the 8500-10,000 range.
Everyone on Kijiji super inflates their price so there is room to haggle. Dealer probably priced it aggressively for quick, no haggle sale.

That Akrapovic system on it is big $$, it's a crazy deal for sure. Buy it now, sell it in the spring for $2k more ;)

I don't think it's a super deal, sounds average to some of the ones I've seen...
Akrapovic exhaust but it doesn't say if it's a full system or just a slip-on and it looks like SS not Ti.
Costly but not a stupid amount of $$ like a full Ti would cost.

And no, you won't sell it for $2K more in the spring.

Id make sure it has ABS if, as in the other thread, you're timid of riding in the rain. Without rain you're going to have better brakes and a bit more torque to break the wheel free on those bikes.

Pretty positive there were some significant advancements for the 2011's and up. I'm not a Kawi expert so I could be wrong. When you look at pricing the 2010's and down seem to be much less then the 2011's and up.

08-10 are the same bike

11 is when things changed:
The 2011 ZX-10R underwent major overhaul both mechanically and visually. Most notably, Kawasaki introduced their S-KTRC (Sport Kawasaki Traction Control) system as a standard feature; responsible for predicting when traction will be lost and adapting accordingly. Also new are KIBS (Kawasaki Intelligent Braking System) as their optional ABS system, a completely new design, adjustable foot-pegs, larger throttle bodies, a horizontal rear suspension, lighter three-spoke wheels, Showa Big Piston Fork (BPF)[SUP][4][/SUP] front suspension, and an LCD panel dashboard.[SUP][5][/SUP] The 2012 model is identical to the 2011 with the only exception being the slightly different paint schemes offered.
