Don't think because you're putting $10K "cash" on the table, that you would get a $3K+ discount.

Just the other day I had a guy offer me $15K "CASH, RIGHT NOW" for a $24K truck, I laughed in his face and told him to bring a certified cheque for $24K instead.

There isn't a lot of profit to be made on brand new vehicles, therefore there's very little room for negotiation.
New bike/car dealerships depend on their service/accessories/parts dept etc.
I know there are some blow-out deals, like those ZX-6's from Kahuna, but that doesn't happen very often and I wouldn't hold my breath for anything similar.
