It dosent seem that they might have broke off just like that as it doesnt seem like they were wrongly attached or loose but have obviously broken and it must be caused by some pretty good impact and it seems you are not having a complete picture.. or someones trying to hide the truth. All we can do is wish you luck, with your recovery as it dosent seem feasible.

I did. I am very mechanically inclined, they were installed correctly. In fact, there is no way to install them wrong, the brackets' design does not allow for incorrect installation.
Didn't have the chance to go there yesterday, I will go today and update with results.
There was NO impact, and yes they cracked and fell off just like that. (Well, one side fell off, the other side is about to)
Why do some people find it so hard to believe that I may be actually telling the truth?
If I'm seeing what I think I'm seeing - that the slider is bolted (with a nut on the backside?) to a thin aluminum bracket - that is a very poor design.
I wouldn't make a blanket condemnation of ALL no-cut frame sliders based on this ... just *those* no-cut sliders.
If the design is right, they can be good. If the design is not, they're useless.
I actually built a no-cut frame slider bracket for a friend of mine ... but it's steel, the nut that the slider bolts onto is welded to that steel bracket, and the steel bracket bolts at each end to an upper engine mount bracket using bolts that go into the main frame. It is NOT going to break in this manner!

its interesting when you look at the pics posted... the side that is still on is about to fall off, but there is NO scuff on the puck.
Maybe OP was standing on them when stunting on the highway running form police

They were simple to install and feel solid enough. The adapters replace the spacers on the engine mounts and the sliders bolt into them. I don't know about the slider itself... I fully expect them to shred pretty good in a spill (based on the price) but if it provides any protection at all they've done their job. I bought them only because they're cheap, otherwise I wouldn't have bought sliders at all. But, if there's a greater tendency for them to actually cause more damage then I'll have to think about this.

This sort of stuff really makes me laugh. You're buying a piece of kit which is required to perform an extremely important function under extreme circumstances in case of an accident, designed to protect engine casings and prevent thousnads of $$$s worth of damage and yet you buy the item on price alone? How stupid is that? If you're gonna buy cheap frame sliders then you may as well not bother. Save your $50. Or am I just missing the point here? Are frame sliders another bit of street bling to be added so your bike looks tough and hard and fast?
At todays exchange rate you can buy R & G sliders for about $160 + shipping and import duty. Or better still go to Topendz or Bluestreak and support a local seller.

Woah there. R&G does not make sliders of any kind for the bike in question. The OP was buying locally, maybe he was just buying what the dealer had on-hand.

And I was more aiming my post at the guy above with his $30 sliders. The OP payed a sensible amount of money and should have expected better quality.

I look on the other side of the bike, and see a that the bracket that holds the slider has a crack in it, also about to fall off.
