Saw An Actual Police Chase Of 3 Sport Bikers

I was returning to my sister-in-law's house after a day at Point Lookout State Park when we merged into the 495 highway going to Alexandria when the loudest sport bike I ever heard passed me as if I was at a dead stop, he must had been going 160 km/h but cutting and swerving between cars only inches of clearance from their fenders. The pipes on this guy were so loud they woke-up the kids in our minivans who were sleeping even with the windows closed (it was about 9:00pm). He dissapeared from view in about 7 seconds, just then 2 other supersport bikers passed us, also at about 160 km/h. Then about 15 seconds later a Sheriff patrol car passed us at great speeds chasing them but WITHOUT lights or sirens.

Then I saw the most weird thing. A 4th sports biker was chasing the police car! He was about 30-ft behind him, if the cop car passed vehicles on the left of the highway shoulder the biker would also do it, if the patrol car cutted across lanes to the other shoulder the sport biker will also tailgate him, WTF? Why didn't this dude just slow down and let the cop chase his buddies? Or better yet get off the next exit and go home! Ahahaha!!! I alsot videotaped it with my iphone but everything went down quickly.

P.S. The first biker had a bright purple led light blinking on and off on the corner of his taillight, is this a beacon to show the cop where he's going?

wow that sounds like a movie scene. I hope one day my skills will be as sharp as those bikers'...

Wondering if any of the 4 bikers would actually reply to this post, a weird version of "I saw you"... lol!

poor cop being played by motorcycles to be posted on youtube soon

Maybe they're auditioning for a new Ghostrider position? Could be a new reality show coming!

EDIT: Confused location.

I suspect that it's like pshycho44 is saying, and that the blinking light was a camera.

160km/h isn't that fast guys...

If it weren't for the 50 over law, I'm sure most of us would be doing like 200 regularly.

Yay for role models.

Sorry, didn't mean to wake your kids but the cop was diabetic and needed a sugar fix so I led him to the nearest donut shop as fast as I could. My buddy was riding sweep in case we dropped the caged pig.

Although this is really reckless driving and super dangerous i can't help but smile... i know the cop must be soo ******.. and i hate pigs.. they spend their time on useless situations instead of worrying about serious crime...

Useless like upholding laws? That kind of thing? Or do you mean that you don't see enough cops on foot chasing after robbers dressed in masks, with a bag marked "swag" over their shoulders wearing black and white striped tops so they can be identified as thus???

When reading the statement that you are responding to, my first thought was that police could actually be dealing with serious issues, if people didn't do their damnedest to elevate lesser issues to the point that they appear to be serious ones. If you run, then the immediate assumption is that you've done something serious enough to warrant running.

Ya I guess you're right...just make sure you don't call them when YOU need them...cause you know...your problem might be useless to someone else...that way you keep them free for helping others who are actually in need.

Maybe it was a stolen bike.. thief was being chased by fellow riders trying to inflict justice that sometimes the cops fail to provide, the Sherif was called to overlook the process of citizens arrest, and the last rider was behind, because he had to wait for the cop to show up and then lead him to the events that follow...

hopefully they caught the thief!

My first thought after reading that statement was that she's never held a job, and doesn't understand how the chain of command works.

Sorry, I forgot to mention this was in Virginia, U.S.A., was over there for the long weekend. There's a GREAT supersport bike culture over there! You should see the things these fellas pull off in public freeways, it's amazing. Here in Ontario we have soft people, basically nerds when it comes to highway stunting or in other words there's NO stunting in our highways anymore.

Stunt driving law maybe?

Do you really think that 172 will stop true stunters? C'mon, these guys don't even fear losing their lives why would they fear that law? Let's also remember that they don't have to stop, most of them don't and have pull-up plates on their bikes.
