It doesn't make sense to use racing as a benchmark. Those bikes are so different from street versions... Besides that, while one team is just entering racing the others have so many years of experience. I have to give credits to BMW for improving so fast, they have become serious title contenders in just a year. But than again, what does this say about street bikes... nothing!

I just seem to believe that these bikes are meant for the track. If you have one of these bikes it should be opened up on the track and enjoyed, not for posing in my opionion, like all the supercars(ferrari and likes) sitting parked in yorkville. I cry when I see this.
If you have the money for the vehicle track the thing. Use it for what its meant.
If you can buy it you can service it.
I think the engines cry on those ferraris travelling an 60kph on University
