So I Deviced A Fail-Proof Alarm For My New Bike

I was thinking of getting the Xena disc lock but this thing will not wake me up from my sleep even if it goes off, the alarm has to go through a brick wall and 2 doors to reach my bedroom. So I bought a cable lock with an alarm fro $40 that goes off when the cable is cut. But I have modified it and added a longer wire and added a metal plate to the mix.

This is how it works, the alarm goes off (120 db) when the cable breaks contact. I have run the cable just outside my door and connected it to my bike's front tire. When somebody moves my bike, and ONLY when it's moved, the alarm will go off, not outside but right inside my house. I have set up the alarm inside my bedroom to ensure I am awakened and believe me I will BE awakened, with the cables running 30-ft outside.

There will be NO false alarms due to wind or vibrations, only when the front tire goes off the 2 inch x 2inch metal plate. As added security I also lock the bike to my BBQ grill and to 4 bicycles. 3 chains in all, is it worth the effort? Yes it is, it only takes me 60 seconds to unlock all 3 chains but it will be a major PITA for the thieves to get my bike, IF they go far enough with it because I will be on top of them with a baseball bat as soon as that alarm sounds in my bedroom.

I want to see this. My neighbor just had his riding lawnmower stolen from his garage. I was thinking of getting a really big scary dog to sleep in the garage but this sounds better ;)

You know they can just short the 2 wires together before splicing them, right? That's how I usualy do it anyways.
 
The wires are hidden from view, do you think they will see it at night in the dark? You also forgot the other 2 chains.

I have a question?
Not trying to be rude or anything, but why not just buy the disk lock with alarm, and then park the bike in your room?

Are all 3 chains wrapped around the bike?
If not then who cares about them

Or just a "This bike is protected by Chuck Norris" Sticker, I'm sure it would add at leat 10HP as well.

It would be amazing if someone just decided to move the metal plate every day at 3 am for a week.
