Dear Santa,

I've been a really really good girl this year and would really like one of these for my bike so that I'm never without my music and don't have to steal Randy or Steve's IPOD when mine dies.

Really, it's like you'd be giving three people a gift with this one item dropped in my pretty little stocking. :) :) :)

Ive been using one of these for about 3 yrs, crashed bikes later still using the original unit...mine is neatly hidden..

Can you help me install??
I feel too lazy

There is a whole rack of them at the Princess Auto in Hamilton

They also have helmet bags on sale for $10

I bought on in Barrie last weekend, there were more than 20 left at that time. In the Bargain section, hanging at the end of an isle.

Sorry to bring up a old thread but has anyone tried this on a Iphone... I bought 1 and was about to instal it, input is 12 volts but USB output is somewhere around 5v Ithought, Where is the step down?

Thanks

Yup I have. Did this 2 weeks ago on my RR. So far I have used it with my Iphone 4 and Garmin with no issues.

^when I picked mine up in Barrie they had 20+. Again that was two weeks ago.

I have a spare one if anyone is interested. PM me.

^ I am interested, but PMs don't work for me. My address is in the signature.

I have a Distribution block on my bike, ie. all electronics are connected to this source of power which have a relay. It is also fused. Adding electronic adapters would just be a matter of screwing wires to my dist. block

Where do you get one of these dist. blocks? I just went to PA to pick up this wire (I have been meaning to get this installed for the longest time), and I like the idea of it being connected in the manner which you described. If you have links to how to install that would help. Otherwise I'm gonna wing it... :D

emailed you.

Got it, thanks.

Where do you get one of these dist. blocks?

Stores selling marine equipment usually have several types and sizes of waterproof distribution blocks. I found them too big and too esxpensive for what I wanted to do, so I went the DIY route. It's been two seasons and over 50,000Km since and no issues whatsoever. The writeup on how I did it is here.
