Hello all,

I was wondering if anybody knew how to officially change the colour on the ownership docs? Do you even need to? I am pretty new to the documentation in Canada.

I plan to change my bike from dark blue to matt black.

Any knowledge would be much appreciated!

Thanks

Jack

After you paint it go to the ministry and just tell them that you changed the color of the bike and you will have to pay $10 for a new ownership.

Change it in case you get pulled over to avoid the hassle.

That is just great!

I only just got the bike, so I have not got the new ownership yet, when the bike is fixed up in a week or so, I will go in then and hopefully get it done at the same time.

Thanks again! Great info!

Yeah, I got pulled over after using a roller to paint my truck..ownership said silver..truck was red.. :-) Cop was very nice, said it makes them think the wrong plate is on the vehicle and it causes problems. No ticket.

Actually, you don't have to pay.
I repainted my zx from silver titanium to black last year and was worried what would happen if it got stolen, pulled over, etc... anyhow went to the ministry told them i changed the colour and they printer me new papers for free. I was shocked that I didn't have to pay anything for once...

Sorry to hijack thread but do you think they would give you a new set of plates if your old ones are crumpled and not easily legible? I don't want to pay for new plates :)

If you have any trouble with the law, hit a pay and spray shop after losing them. ..easy

Sent from my calculator, using skills.

don't remember I pay any when I change, "multi-color" on my slip, if change style again next time multi still good

time stamped with boobs! lmao

I had to pay $10 for a new ownership after I changed the color on my bike.. Maybe they changed something. I find every office is a lil different in the way they do things.
