Looking for someone with an 08 or 10 Passion Red Ninja 250

Basically I need to take detailed pictures of my Sunbeam red 09 next to a Passion red so I can send it to the MotorcycleFairings guy to get a better idea of the colour. I'm trying to explain Sunbeam Red to him and how it has a orange hue in certain light conditions but I guess its hard for him to get an idea...I don't want to end up with a mismatched tank and plastics so this is the best solution I can come up with.

I sent him a link to the color on colorrite website but he says "the colorrite color doesn't look like red in the sunlight" hell its called Sunbeam Red for a reason cuz it is RED!!! It just has a slight orange tint to it but this guys has me worried and the last thing I'd want is orange fairings...
 
AFAIK, the 2012 model is Passion Red too, isn't it?

Might be able to ride up to a Kawi dealer and see if they'll let you take pics lol
 
I think your just trying a new way to find a DATE.....LOL

Nearest dealer is Kahuna and the way they park their bikes in the showroom its hard as hell to sit on em, let alone roll one out for a photoshoot...

The colour code is 639. Pictures can always vary how a colour looks but the code is the code. What you see on the website and what you get are always different.

Trust the code.

What was he going to do without it anyway. Guess and mix?
 
was out riding in the rain....got to 200kph on the road 3s....just didnt make it over there.....next week I will

I have no idea?? So how does this code help the buddy overseas doing the painting? Do they put it into some program or do they have some big book of colour codes or something?

They would order that paint code or have their supplier mix to that code. What they end up with is the Kawi factory colour as long as its 639.
 
When I was working at the Kawi shop, I put a Passion Red solo seat cowl on a Sunbeam Red Ninja 250 (or vice versa, can't remember) just to see if anyone could notice.
Nobody did.
If you knew and you looked very closely, you could tell.
But those red colours are really very similar...
