Photojournalism Ride

Hello all,

I am a journalism student at Sheridan College in Oakville. I would like to follow a group of riders (2+) around on a beautiful day.

I would be taking pictures of your sojourn, stop where you stop, and hopefully we can hit up Snake road, if it's in good riding condition, for some action shots.

The assignment isn't due until early April. And I would be following you in my car, easier to take pictures and carry my gear.

Please post here if you're interested, or email me at ColeRitchie@gmail.com.

Thanks for viewing,
Eleventy

Edit: I realize this looks suspicious, bike theft and what not. I can provide credentials to prove that I am a student at Sheridan.

Early April is about two weeks and a lot of bikes are still in storage. Still salt and sand on the roads.

I have trouble believing many people are still keeping their bikes in storage with this weather. This is perfect riding weather, not to hot, not to cold, just right.

roads have been okay all this week for riding.
obviously not riding like it's 32 degree weather in mid August.
mind the sand and gravel on the roads, remember COLD TIRES, keep the speeds safe, and enjoy the early start to the season. :)

I'm totally down for this. Would love shots of me riding. I'll check back for further details.

Hello all,

I received an email from one member, he and his friend are down for a ride. I won't be riding, but I'll be in my car.

It's kind of touchy of when we can go and get some shots due to weather. Also, I have seen lots of bikes around Oakville and Burlington. Rains seem to be clearing up the roads.

I'm not taking pictures with a point and shoot. I have a DSLR with multiple lenses, so they will be awesome, sexy, huge shots.

I really appreciate members willing to do this, it's a big help.

I'm also writing a story for our magazine about the costs of owning a motorcycle. If anyone is a motorcycle salesman/woman or mechanic that would be willing to talk for a few minutes about costs, that would appreciated as well.

And yes, I am a dude. Except on Saturday nights (kidding). Please send me an email if you're interested so I can gather everyone who wants to participate. Then we'll set a date, April is fast approaching!

Thanks,
Eleventy
