Uhaul Trailer alternatives.

Anyone know if I can rent the bike trailer from UHaul and cross the border into the US with it? I'm planning to import a bike in the summer, and I'd hope you say it won't be a problem.

Why not just rent a pickup and toss it in the back?

Enterprise in Whitby - this year locally when my SUV was written off

Avis in Oshawa about 5 years ago - rented a pickup and put two bikes in back when we went to Daytona and back - and pulled a trailer with another bike (although we didnt admit to the trailer - trick is finding a truck you can put a ball on).

Yes you can.

ATTS is right its no problem. Just make sure you bring the rental agreement with you. They didn't ask me about it but in the past I've been asked with rental cars.

The uhaul trailer with tax and insurance is something like $35 but they say its for a 6 hour rental only.

So if u cant make back then rent it so that the store closes within the 6 hours and you jut come and drop off. This way they dont charge you extra

What bike did u find in windsor?

Strange. I was doing an online quote and it didn't mention anywhere 6-hour rental, etc. Where did you see that? You choose pick-up and drop-off dates.. the price is $15 before tax and insurance, of course.

I rented a trailer 3 times last summer and it was always in 6 hour slots. The person at the counter always ask me i will be back in 6 hours

they always ask if it's a 6hour rental... i found there is no difference in price...

tell them you need it for 24 hours, or that i'll be back when they open in the morning...

Yes, but if I'm renting the trailer for 5 days, then what do they care? I pick it up on Date A and return it on Date A+5. I'm confused now, I start to doubt if I'll be able to import a bike from the US in the summer, because I'll definitely need the trailer for at least of few days..

I've rented a motorcycle trailer from uhaul twice. Both times it cost me $15 plus tax and that's it. They don't track km's with a trailer.

I work at the location on Chesswood Dr. (weekends only) and the 6 hour question is just routine. Ask for a time that suits you and most likely you will get it. Also remember that the last 3 days and the last weekend of the month are the busiest because people move most at those times. Mid month rentals are much less stressful. Trailers are always more likely to be available than trucks.

We have a motorcycle trailer in stock if anyone wants to rent it out. Just tell them that Robert recommended them.

Trailers have no km charges while ALL trucks do.

Thanks, really appreciate your input on this! Just one question---if I want to rent it for a few days (respectively pay for the number of days), would that be a problem with uhaul?

You can rent it for a week if it is available. If you want to rent from me then call me tomorrow. I'll be there from 8A-2P. 416-636-7150
